Kuntu Blankson of Akan Drama Fame Commits Suicide
Veteran Actor, Daniel Quayson Yeboah, popularly known as Kuntu Blankson has died.
The 63 year-old actor who featured in the popular Akan drama series in the late 90s, is alleged to have committed suicide at his residence on Thursday morning in Cape Coast.
Sources close to the family have indicated that, the actor woke up and was thought to have embarked on his usual jogging routine. He was found dead hanging from the tracksuit he wears for his jogging exercises.
The family has expressed shock at the incident, and have explained that Mr Blankson neither complained of any problem nor showed signs that he was worried.
Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police Service have begun investigations and conveyed the body to the morgue for autopsy.
He is survived by a wife and three children.
